Delete Your Sionnach Account

We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to delete your Sionnach account and what happens to your data.

How to Request Account Deletion

To delete your Sionnach account and all associated data, please send an email to:

shane@peregrinum.io

Please include in your email:

  • The email address associated with your Sionnach account
  • Confirmation that you want to delete your account

What Gets Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Account Information: Your name, email address, and password hash
  • Learning Progress: All your lesson progress and achievements
  • Beta Requests: Any iOS or Android beta program requests
  • Feedback: All feedback you've submitted through the app
  • Audio Submissions: Any audio recordings you've submitted for the community
  • User Sessions: All login sessions and authentication tokens

Data Retention

The following may be retained for a limited time:

  • Anonymized Audio: If you submitted audio recordings that have been verified and added to our learning database, these may be retained in an anonymized form (with no connection to your account) to continue helping other learners.
  • Legal Records: We may retain minimal records required for legal compliance for up to 30 days after deletion.

Deletion Timeline

Your deletion request will be processed within 7 business days. You will receive:

  1. An email confirmation that we received your request (within 24 hours)
  2. A final confirmation when your account has been deleted (within 7 days)
